We want to talk about healthy, nutrient-dense foods (and others, too, of course), news and information items (current and otherwise), the BROKEN allopathic medical system and the need for alternative medicine, weather, farming - hey, you name it!

Give low doses of a certain vitamin (whatever they're testing) and then say it doesn't work. In this article they talk about vitamin D and calcium. In my opinion, I simply don't take a calcium supplement because it's soooooooooo easy to get it from foods of all kinds, mostly good raw dairy of all kinds, of course. Milk, cheese (colby etc), butter, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, yogurt, cream cheese, buttermilk - if homemade from raw milk as your starter, you can't go wrong. Of course, there are many other sources of good calcium, as well. Stay away from grocery store or drug store supplements, always, but especially so with calcium because they use the cheapest, least absorbable kind. To me, the combo of Vit D3 along with a good Vitamin K2 (mk7) is the way to go and even takes the place of artery clogging calcium - without the risk of clogging.
