That's pretty much exactly what my cousin said, too. It's nice to have it in the upper elevations though, because it can get into the streams and creeks up there and stay more pristine for a while, not to mention helping the animals and birds who've also been without water for some time.

I haven't really heard much about whether or not Nevada benefitted from any of this weather, have you? That desert State could sure use some water from the heavens because the gubmint is tying their hands about using any other sources of water, natural or otherwise. What a crazy america we have.

Other than around the Reno/Tahoe areas I haven't heard anything about Nevada.
