We want to talk about healthy, nutrient-dense foods (and others, too, of course), news and information items (current and otherwise), the BROKEN allopathic medical system and the need for alternative medicine, weather, farming - hey, you name it!

Why do they keep advertising and selling Nutella as if it's something good for us?? It's not. And I agree with the article where it says we should not be using chocolate in any form as a way to entice kids to eat breakfast. Fix eggs instead, in the many many many ways eggs can be used. Much better for kids and they'll thank you for it.

I hate the stuff. Only had it once and now I know why. My kids never liked it and my grandkids turn up their noses at the junk. Their other gramma, who is a nurse, thinks it's plumb hunky dorey and is always trying to get them to eat it. Luckily, I got to them first and they always turn it down!! Great kids.

Info on palm oil:

I always thought there was a difference between red palm oil and just plain palm oil, but maybe there isn't. It's hard to do a search because every article talks about both as though they were/are the same thing. ut the one thing you don't want, that's contained in Nutella, is oxidized/refined palm oil. Nasty stuff, as are all oxidized oils & refined oils. Which is why you should never by Crisco oil, Wesson oil, or any of those other store brand best-sellers. If people only knew . . .
