This one is no joke. Not to mention, the reason he knew all of this is probably because it was already going on way back then, it's just more sophisticated now because of computers in every home. SPYING computers and other smart gadgets that we're all supposed to love. We could live without them again.

The other big piece of the puzzle is that now we have the tyranny part . . . :?

Quote:
The National Security Agency’s capability at any time could be turned around on the American people, and no American would have any privacy left, such is the capability to monitor everything: telephone conversations, telegrams, it doesn’t matter. There would be no place to hide. If a dictator ever took over, the N.S.A. could enable it to impose total tyranny, and there would be no way to fight back. — Sen. Frank Church (1975)

This is a great quote I "stole" from NVIC. Applies to ALL kinds of things.

The whole problem with western civilization is that ever since the Greeks, we've been trying to squeeze the mind into the brain - and it won't fit!

Some of these you've probably seen before, but they're always worth seeing again if for no other reason than to fortify your efforts to use almost anything but modern medicine.

http://healthwyze.org/index.php/component/content/article/236-funny-sad-and-thought-provoking-medical-quotations.html

** Down in the comment section there's a post from a guy wondering why doctors don't embark on giving nutritional information. Is he daft? Why would anyone want nutritional advice from a doctor? Has he tasted the foods served up by hospitals today? It's nothing but boxed, chemically altered powders - which is why anyone with half a functioning brain wouldn't ask for, much less listen to, nutritional advice from a doctor. We're all much better off if they stay out of that category of "medicine", for sure.

"The very poor can always be depended upon. They never turn away the hungry. Time and again, all over the United States, have I been refused food by the big house on the hill; and always have I received food from the little shack down by the creek or marsh, with its broken windows stuffed with rags and its tired-faced mother broken with labor. Oh, you charity-mongers! Go to the poor and learn, for the poor alone are the charitable. They neither give nor withhold from their excess. They HAVE no excess. They give, and they withhold never, from what they need for themselves, and very often from what they cruelly need for themselves. A bone to the dog is not charity. Charity is the bone shared with the dog when you are just as hungry as the dog."

Jack London, from his book called The Road.

I don't know who this guy is, but I agree with him 100%. ;) :P

I do not choose to be a common man. It is my right to be uncommon — if I can. I seek opportunity — not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me. I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid; to think and act for myself, enjoy the benefit of my creations, and to face the world boldly and say, this I have done. - Dean Alfange

The supply of gold is governed by nature; it is not, like the supply of paper money, subject merely to the schemes of demagogues or the whims of politicians. Nobody ever thinks he has quite enough money. Once the idea is accepted that money is something whose supply is determined simply by the printing press, it becomes impossible for the politicians in power to resist the constant demands for further inflation. Gold may not be a theoretically perfect basis for money; but it has the merit of making the money supply, and therefore the value of the monetary unit, independent of governmental manipulation and political pressure. – Henry Hazlitt, Man vs. The Welfare State [1969]

RIGHT ON! BTW, I snagged this quote from the Future of Freedom Foundation e-newsletter, today's edition.

The objection to politics and politicians, the primary indictment against all their works and ways, is that they spoil life. Human life is naturally a lovely, enjoyable, attractive thing. We are all conscious that if we could only be left alone, life would be glorious and desirable and we could do almost anything with it. But the politicians never let us alone; and while we are all busily trying to do our poor best with our lives under such throttling conditions as they put upon us, they are busily trying to thwart us. – Albert Jay Nock, “Pearls Before Swine” [January 4, 1922]

**Stole this from today's FFF e-newsletter.

Just think, this was written in 1922 (that's the year my Mom was born!). Certainly, things have not improved much in almost 100 years for the lower and middle class. But for elitists and politicians, well, let's just say they have made great strides in keeping us down. But it's our own fault - we practically gave them permission to run our lives (socialism, folks) and now our President wants us and other nations to believe there's not too much difference between communism and what we have in America. You know something, he's just about got that right . . . :?

Officials Say the Darndest Things - A ProPublica Tumblog

"Lucifer in the flesh. … I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a ***** in my life." - Former Speaker of the House John Boehner, speaking at Stanford University, when asked for his opinion of Ted Cruz.

http://officialssay.tumblr.com/post/143533567785/lucifer-in-the-flesh-i-have-democrat-friends

I wonder in what context he is using the word miserable?

Just because something is voted into law by our CONgressidiots does NOT mean I have to agree with it. It doesn't mean anyone has to agree with it and if we want to change it we have to make the change happen. Sadly that now means hiring a lawyer to take the whole mess through the polluted halls of the USDOJ. Can you imagine a good outcome?

Nevertheless, on a personal basis, we don't have to agree with any law and so far we are still free to TALK about non-agreement.

This is just a great quote about "settled science". Courtesy Dr. Gary Null and Dr. Richard Gale.

http://www.thevaccinereaction.org/2016/06/richard-gale-and-dr-gary-null-on-scientism/

Quote:
All the data [on the safety and effectiveness of vaccines] is in, so we are told, and no further research and discussion is necessary because vaccines have been officially ruled to pose no neurological and immunological risk to infants, children, pregnant mothers, adults and the elderly. This official policy is founded upon flawed premises and a primitive understanding about the complexities of the human body and its multifaceted immunological system. This argument’s fallacy is actually quite simple. Valid science is never settled.

The myth of ‘settled science,’ which is especially endemic to the biological and medical sciences that rely on private financial interests, is sheer propaganda. Valid science, on the other hand, constantly seeks new discoveries to acquire further knowledge and greater understanding. The pursuit to fully comprehend the complexity of our biological, immunological and physiological systems, therefore, is in perpetual infinite regress.

… A medical science that refuses to ask new questions and settles upon disputed beliefs to sustain an industry’s financial portfolio is Scientism, a quasi-faith-based creed now institutionalized to promulgate repressive laws. These laws then advance Scientism’s authority. Unfortunately, today this accurately represents the sad state of vaccine research and vaccination policy.

— Richard Gale and Gary Null, PhD
