I've been looking for something new to take to the Ladies Circle Spring Tea coming up at our church, just after Easter. This sounds like it would hit the spot, but I don't think I'd add the chocolate chips to the actual cake, just the streusel topping. Besides, otherwise it gets to be a *bit much* chocolate for some people (never thought I'd ever say you can get too much chocolate, but there it is!).

Whenever I add chocolate chips to a cake, breads or muffins, they sink to the bottom! And I'm not organized enough to set a timer and add the chips halfway through baking time as some recipes suggest. I always have too much going on to do that sort of thing.

I think I'll add a 1/2 tsp or so of cinnamon to the streusel topping. It's just something I do. The cinnamon helps to offset the sugar, and tastes lovely, too.
