The word Lucerne means alfalfa. I had no idea. Lucerne is a brand of milk from Safeway, isn't it?! That's the only place I've ever seen that word before.

At any rate, if you want to use it as mulch, I have two suggestions: don't do this if you live on a farm with animals that escape regularly, or they'll eat your mulch AND your plants! Goats and sheep come to mind instantly. http://www.sheep101.info/sheepandgoats.html The second thing is this: if you want to use it as mulch, DON'T buy it in bales, buy it loose, especially if you're using it near a home, or in town. You know what comes along with alfalfa bales and straw bales? I've told you before (actually I've bitched about this before...) snakes and mice come with bales of anything and if you live in town you don't really need the addition of that kind of wildlife.

Hmmmmm. Right after I posted this article, moments ago, I went to check the "traffic" use on anything else I'd posted this morning. 3 people had already looked at this article and it hadn't been "submitted" for more than 2 seconds, literally.

The spies are back. I musta posted something controversial. My guess would be I've posted a few articles from Natural News here recently. I'm not a big fan of Mikey (because he really CAN be a sensationalist but then again that's how you write headlines to get traffic to your site, right?) but he's had a couple of good articles regarding marijuana/cannabis stuff lately, and a few others that I thought others might like to read, taking away from each article whatever you can use.

Since googleitis has taken over the internet, I think most people aren't even surprised by all the spying anymore - except me. I'm always surprised because it's one of those things you don't want to believe really happens, ya know? I mean, really, they're looking for terrorists on a health, recipe sharing, gardening site like mine? Good grief.
