We want to talk about healthy, nutrient-dense foods (and others, too, of course), news and information items (current and otherwise), the BROKEN allopathic medical system and the need for alternative medicine, weather, farming - hey, you name it!

And a guy who used to make them, before the ugly FDA bunch stepped in. All they would have had to do is school him on what was required (as far as labeling) and it would have been a done deal. But no . . . not our benevolent FDA shysters.

THis just amazes me every time I read about it. The FDA approves of thimerosol and mercury, proven unsafe in many studies that even THEY know about and so does the CDC, but they don't approve of herbs, which are found in nature and not supposed to be "patentable".

They get especially peeved and pissed off if the person selling the herbal stuff doesn't include the disclaimer from the FDA's own fevered little brains stating that it is not a cure for anything. I don't think Sam Girod ever claimed it was a cure for anything, he just claimed it MIGHT help SOME people with CERTAIN conditions. Very unspecific, much less a claim.

My bet is that if Mr. Girod could afford to advertise this stuff on tv between sappy Hallmark movies, he'd be a millionaire and it (the salve, etc) wouldn't be considered "illegal" at all. It's all about the money, doncha know? Bribing someone at the FDA would also work, and quite well I might add - but Mr. Girod is too up-standing to try anything like that and what's more, he didn't know and never dreamed he'd need to do such a thing . . . :geek: This is where tyranny gets its roots. Somehow, someone needs to bring the alphabet agencies into line. ALL of them, IMPHHO.

Please, someone get this story to Dr. Price or President Trump or someone who CAN get it to them because if they read this they would simply not believe it, nor the extent to which its gone. We need to strip the FDA of its awful, over-bloated, egotistic powers.

But please, read this all the way through and DON'T skim. I don't know what more I can say. It's heart-felt and beautifully written by Edwin Shank from The Family Cow in PA.
