We want to talk about healthy, nutrient-dense foods (and others, too, of course), news and information items (current and otherwise), the BROKEN allopathic medical system and the need for alternative medicine, weather, farming - hey, you name it!

This is a good short article, and a 5 min vid which is also really good. Please take the time. I've been expressing my opinion about this subject for years now - hydroponic is not organic, nor should it ever be considered organic. There has to be soil and all the critters and organisms in the soil in order for the word organic to mean anything at all. But, let's face facts - when the gubmint (in this case the USDA who wouldn't know **** from shinola) gets involved, things lose meaning. We know that very well.

Give this a look-see: https://www.cornucopia.org/2017/03/rally-valley-keep-soil-organic/

And here's another factor in the organic puzzle. This is exactly why I don't trust labeling (I don't care if it has the blessing of the usda by putting their stamp on it or not) especially labeling where something claims to be "organic". The USDA can't even define the word, just like the FDA can't define "natural" or "healthy". Yet, we are supposed to think the people within those agencies actually KNOW anything? C'mon. They're looking at money, not anything else. Both the FDA and the USDuh refuse to acknowledge the existence of organic seeds, either. They think the perverted seeds from Burpee are just fine. Well, of course they do - they're pushing that crap. It's pure ********. Plants start from the seeds and if the seeds are doused in poison, there's no way the stuff those seeds produce can possibly be healthy. And even I can tell you that the meaning of the word healthy means *not sick, not ill*. Plants can be ill just like people can be ill, non? So the FDA and the USDA need to get their **** together and start recognizing, through their manufactured, hazy fog, that a simple dictionary will tell them the meanings of these words - if they'd only pick one up and open the pages.

Yes. People are worried about these issues. And rightly so.
