We want to talk about healthy, nutrient-dense foods (and others, too, of course), news and information items (current and otherwise), the BROKEN allopathic medical system and the need for alternative medicine, weather, farming - hey, you name it!

Concierge service is the antidote to this hopelessly complex – and extremely expensive – insurance-driven system of care. Not only that, but it [concierge care] is aimed at allowing doctors to practice the way they see fit – not according to some government - or insurance company-mandated formula.

Well, they ALMOST got it right in this paragraph. The only thing wrong is that WE are still in charge of our health and we should not let a doctor be making our decisions. Doctors are there to diagnose and that should be where their job stops until the patient decides what to do next, on their own terms. It should be patient-centered, not doctor-centered care. Especially if the patient is the one footing the bill in the long run, which we all are doing anyway, even if we all had insurance.

Otherwise, this article is pretty much the plan of what should be pushed through by the Trump administration, screw CONgress and the House and all the rest of the bureaucratic airheads. Sadly, our country is too entrenched in PHRMA and lobbyists $$ yada yada yada to do the right thing by the people, which would be to give them control, not the "industry" of medicine or the "industry" of insurance who are badly and sadly in control now and lookit the mess we have.

When a patient is diagnosed with an illness, the doctors job is to inform the patient all about the illness, that includes what modern medicine has to offer, what the potential outcomes are if the patient opts for modern medicine or if the patients opts not to follow modern medicine. Currently, doctors can loose their license if they even suggest to a patient alternative ways.

An example of stupid laws: When I worked for the VA; patients that had toenail fungus (when there was no signs of infection) we would suggest daily toe soaks in plain white vinegar for 15 minutes per day and do that daily until the toe nail is completely grown out. If they stop before nail completely grown out, the fungus comes back. Since there were NO studies on that we had to stop suggesting that to patients, even though it did resolve most toe nail fungus.... There is a pill for that!
