We want to talk about healthy, nutrient-dense foods (and others, too, of course), news and information items (current and otherwise), the BROKEN allopathic medical system and the need for alternative medicine, weather, farming - hey, you name it!

I wish some of these publications would stop trying to make Jeff Bezos some sort of hero. He's not. This article tries to make it sound like he made other people rich before he got rich. WHAT??? How many bookstores did he put out of business? How many techno stores did he shutter?

https://www.lewrockwell.com/lrc-blog/jeff-bezos-got-rich-giving-customers-want/

And, sure, he gives customers what they want, but before that came about he did put a bunch of other companies out of business. Not that having a successful business is a bad thing (for Bezos) but shuttering brick and mortar stores is going to cost us down the road, and not just in money. You wait and see. I like amazon but these days I shop elsewhere (online) first. On weekends I utilize the brick and mortar stores, although I detest big box stores, so I try to support my little local stores owned by friends and neighbors. We NEED these small stores to survive or we'll pay a high price (again, not just in money) but in convenience.

And I have little love for the man since he purchased the Washington Post and is using it as a mouthpiece.
